Suppressors Cleaning a sealed can with Stainless Media

I have access to a bore scope and planned on using it if I go this route.

Suppressors Cleaning a sealed can with Stainless Media

I have heard from many sources including TBAC that an ultrasonic on a sealed can is a waist of time. I can't confirm or deny but so far everything they have told me about the various things they have tried as far as solutions goes has been spot on with what I have seen. No they didn't recommend...

Suppressors Cleaning a sealed can with Stainless Media

That's a good point. Guess I'll have to count them twice and maybe weigh them to for some added protection. I plan to flush everything into a bucket so the chance of a pin getting away from me is reduced. Not eliminated but highly reduced.

Suppressors Cleaning a sealed can with Stainless Media

This can has seen about 6500 rounds of .243 with H1000 for powder. Zak has offered to clean it several times but I know there has to be a way I can tackle this myself. I know how TBAC cleans them and it's nothing outside the realm of what a guy can do at home. They use a pressure washer with a...

Suppressors Cleaning a sealed can with Stainless Media

Anybody tried pouring stainless tumbling media in a sealed can like a 30P-1 and a little lemon shine and water mix, then capped the ends and let it roll or in a tumbler for a few hours? I'm thinking of doing this to mine because it is almost 10oz over the new weight and weighs a ton. Just...

Rifle Scopes Kahles 624i problem/issue. Advice please.

I understand the adjustments being off but the reticle and the adjustments both off and off the same amount? Sounds like you are doing something wrong.

    .243 Winchester Powder

H4350 is pretty much the go to for .243 as well for the 105-115 class bullets. I've ran H1000 to and it works pretty well but you need a longer barrel like 26" or more for it to work well.

    Suppressors Cleaning a suppressor.

You think it would break down a very thick layer of carbon Chad? Like 1/8" thick or more?

    Magnetospeed V3 Reading Reliability

It read every time for me but the data wasn't any closer than I can just guess based on load data online. It was always 100 fps fast I my 6mm stuff compared to actual data at 1000 yards.

Gunsmithing Carbon buildup on crown vs. accuracy?

I remember you telling about using boiling antifreeze to clean carbon from muzzle brakes and thought about trying it on my can. I wonder how long a guy would have to boil it to see any worthy results. May have to give this a try.

    Rifle Scopes Kahles K624i

They are pretty damn rugged if you ask me. The turrets are very stiff like you would find on a Nightforce. I have ran the turrets up & down quite a bit in the last 6 months that I have been using one and the tracking has been dead on with every tall target test I have done. Mine is on a matte...

Gunsmithing Carbon buildup on crown vs. accuracy?

Still shoots under .5 moa with ease. More like 1/3. Never cleaned and never will.

    243 short barreled build

45.5 grains of H1000 in Winchester brass or 42grains of H4530 in Winchester brass have worked for me with 105 Hornadys.

    PRS (SLIK) Tripod Issue

I have been crazy busy the last few months but I thought I would give an update on this. Danel or Platypus got with me and got me a new unit sent out and to me in time for an upcoming match. It worked great and still continues to work great. He replaced the unit for nothing more than a thanks...

    Rifle Scopes Kahles K624i

They do very well. The turrets are very tactile and easy to read, the parallax is in a very handy spot, the coating on the tube is crazy tough, and I've not a had a zero issue yet. Love mine and all the ones I have used.

Kahles K624i Early gen 2s have the detents as well. It's not a gen 1 specific feature.

    Roustabout Jobs

Shit service rig hands are making 25-30 an hour in the Powder River Basin. Drillers are getting 30-40 an hour. Your area is way behind the curve lol

    **6 Creedmoor**

I didn't. It would read every shot but just was way high. Not saying that couldn't be a solution but my problem was an accuracy vs a not reading problem. Like I said I really wanted it to work lol.
