    Just curious... How many rotations did you lose on your zero with a 20 MOA base? I know it doesn't matter, but it tends to irritate my OCD when I waste a bunch of adjustment - LOL. The Deviant is based on the R700, correct? What kind of rings?

    After a little research, this scope has 36 Mils of adjustment, which is bad a$$... So for another $500 over the SWFA, you're getting a 35mm tube, zero stop, more adjustment (though you won't need it for a 260), more reticle options, and the Vortex warranty. You may have just sold me, brother...

    Honestly it is probably just the way your action and base sit together. You could get a 45 MOA base. You get about one mil per three MOA of cant. The tolerances are so tight these days I will be surprised if it is a defective scope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Are you using low rings? I switched from .886 M40 rings to .823 and got a little more out of the elevation. I know it's a little late but that is why I like the SWFA SS - 30 Mils of adjustment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    SWFA has a lot more adjustment range and is a lot sturdier than what I have seen of the Vortex stuff. That extra $500 on the price tag of the SS goes a long way, IMO.
