Yep, the pics are of Dick Proenneke 's cabin. It was an awesome experience getting to talk to people who knew him, and see how he lived in the wilderness. He was pretty innovative with the things he made using only hand tools.- tspinaker

Re: Red Jacket I'm sure the original poster's question has been answered by now, but if not, I'd buy a DPMS LR-308 before I would buy anything from these guys. For now I'll stick with my AR-10 and hope that Santa brings me a GAP upper for it, but I have my doubts.- tspinaker

Gunsmithing Good gunsmith in lower Alabama
Does anyone know of a good gunsmith in lower Alabama? I'm looking to get a barrel threaded and free float handguards on my AR-10. I really don't like shipping my stuff to a gunsmith, and would prefer to get it done locally if possible.- tspinaker
