    WTF? Kestrel 4500, Win 10 BT connection

    I have one of the Dell mini's with Windows10 and it connects to my 4500AB without issue. Are you using the right COM port? I had to fiddle with that on the computer the first time I used it, but haven't had a problem since.

    I don't have any experience with 6 Creedmoor. I had a 6x47 running 105 Hybrids around 3030-3050 and it performed well. Barrel lasted about 2400 rounds. I've read that the 6x47 can be a bit finicky to load for, but that wasn't my experience. 38.9 gr H4350 jumping 20 thou seemed to shoot fine...

    Binoculars for spotting

    For steel targets in matches, I've transitioned to using 10x42 Leicas mounted on a tripod. I haven't had any issues spotting hits on steel out to 1000. Out to 1400 is doable most of the time. I've found the binos much easier on my eyes and the wider FOV is greatly appreciated.

    I 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th the notion of showing up and shooting versus watching and learning. If the match director is worth a shit, he'll ask if you've ever a shot a match before, and if you haven't, squad you with some patient, experienced guys so you learn something.

    I really like the TAB Gear Silent Ammo Carrier for ammo/brass management. It will hold 100 or so rounds and has a divider in it so the empties don't get mixed in with your live rounds. As for bags, take what you currently have. If you're lacking a piece of equipment, someone in your squad...

    I have a Trijicon RMR picatinny adapter amount that I attached a swiss plate to. As soon as it gets back from the coating shop I'm going to try it out on a couple AR's then test it on the bolt action. Really like the idea of running it up front and using a bag for support for sitting/kneeling.

    With the long internal length, how will a Dasher feed from these? Will a spacer be required? Is a spacer available? I'd really like to try these if the short Dasher case won't cause issues.

    Only experience I have is second-hand from a guy I consider to be a good shooter and knowledgeable reloader...I don't remember his charge weight, but he's pushing 105's around 2980fps from a 24" barrel and has over 3k rounds down that barrel, and it still shoots less than 1/2 moa at 100 yards...
