    Re: New AR owner My first choice in Mags would be Magpul if a 20-rounder is small enough for you. I have quite a few and have run MANY rounds with zero issues. Look up their videos on youtube. There are many other good choices out there, though.

    Re: AR Barrel Dameter at Gas Ports Thanks bohem. With the pressures involed in these rifles I wanted to make sure I wasn't setting myself up for a filet-o-fist. I did notice that the Kreiger Varmatch are advertised as .937" at the "gas system" and that is what really got me thinking.

    If a standard gas block is .936" ID and the barrel I am looking to use has an OD of .935" at the ports am I asking for trouble? Is 1/1000th of an inch an issue? Should I get the barrel maker to cut the port area to a different OD? Gas block is PRI and barrel is LW #6200. I'm a newb a builds...
