Night Vision FLIR T-75 Long Range Operational Review

These are my rough attempts at taking a photo through the entire setup from the Elcan Specter DR 1.5-6X-42mm day optic of some buzzards chowing on fresh hog offal in the rain in my back yard at a distance of 250 yards in the rain. I held a digital camera up to the ocular lens of the Elcan on...

Night Vision FLIR T-75 Long Range Operational Review

Here are a couple of video out-takes from the T-75 to show it's long range, this is the same view you would have using it as a Stand Alone thermal weapon scope at 1X, 2X, and 4X, I am viewing this same view at 6X through the Elcan in Clip-On mode. Environmental parameters were: pouring rain...

Night Vision Impressed with IR Hunter Mk1 320x240 35mm Thermal Scope

Nice kit, a 320 core and a 35mm lens is nothing to sneeze at, it is very effective with the same range as a 640 core but less resolution for ID, still you should be able to cover most of everything out 225 yards at night and that generally is damn good performance in my book.

Night Vision FLIR T-75 Long Range Operational Review

Using the T-75 at night in the pouring down rain, I could easily ID and Target the head of a bunny at 225 yards without a problem, the video shows what you would be seeing if your were using the T-75 as a Stand Alone thermal scope, but I am seeing the same thing at 6X through the Elcan...

Night Vision FLIR T-75 Long Range Operational Review

The manual controls and ergonomic operational features of the T-75 are identical to the T-70/M-18. Front shot of the 100mm lens/lens cap and nice solid LaRue mount on the T-75: Ocular lens view: Bottom view of T-75: Right had side showing battery compartment, On/Off switch...

Night Vision FLIR T-75 Long Range Operational Review

As many of you know, I had the good fortune to get one of the first FLIR T-70s available to civvies when they came out to apply to my land management problems and liked it so much I soon got another, as well as a nice M-18 Recon hand held scanner that uses the same controls as the T-70. The...

Couple of FLIR T-75 StandAlone Mode through the tube photos showing their internal digital 7.62mm NATO BDC reticule in my backyard in the rain of some vultures feeding on hog carrion, the unit also has an internal digital 5.56mm NATO BDC you can easily switch to also. It functions as a...

Pretty much both. I like being able to use the long range but there are only a couple of decent places where I can put it to good use on our properties for land management and hog eradication. Most of the time my hog/coyote encounters are under 300 yards and more like 150-200 yards where my...

Night Vision FLIR T-50 Initial Set-Up

Have received many questions on the T-70 vs T-75, I will do a review here soon on the T-75, I've already got plenty of info on both in this thread. However, I need to reinforce that the T-75 is a LONG RANGE THERMAL WEAPON SCOPE, ie >250 yards to 800 yards. The T-70 is a SHORT RANGE scope from...
