Glad I came across this thread, I’ve been wondering why there wasn’t a dedicated Bergara pic thread…I guess I just hadn’t found it yet.
Rifle as it currently sits, although I have a Magpul Pro Lite chassis arriving for it next week. Also going to include a photo of it in the factory stock...
Thanks for the insight! I guess I’m not just switching to a chassis for the grip angle, the ability to easily install an arca rail and the adjustable LOP are also big selling points.
I am a little worried about the balance not feeling right as all the weight savings of the lite version come...
Any users of this chassis on here? Looking for some feedback/likes/dislikes/comments on quality. I have one on the way for my Bergara B14 Wilderness. I was able to score a new one for $430. The rifle is currently sitting in a HS stock with a Mathew’s fab adjustable cheek riser. I’m looking for...
I have a Bergara B14 Wilderness Hunter in 6.5 creed and it is an incredibly nice rifle for the money. It will shoot 1/2 MOA with Hornady 140 ELD-M’s and 143 ELD-X’s if I’m doing my part. I did replace the factory stock, but the original stock was definitely the best factory stock I’ve come...
Still need looking at getting a Trigger Tech flat pull trigger and waiting on a carbon wrapped Proof barrel, but I think this with do for my hunting season this year. 1/2 MOA with both 140 ELD-M’s and ELD-X’s.
Had some eye relief issues squaring up on my rifle while zeroing, so I moved my scope back in the rings to a position that I didn’t feel like I was reaching with my head. Do you guys think the space between the rings and bell/turret housing is adequate?
Rifle is finally complete, Just in time to get aquatinted with it before hunting season.

All done, just waiting on my Aadland scope caps arrive (should be here Friday). Tough early morning light, I’ll definitely have to take some better photos.
I can’t help with the LH predicament/support, but I can share my recent experience with the rifles. I purchased a savage 110 based on the claims of out of the box accuracy…the claims are not unfounded, the rifle shot incredibly well, however that bolt lift and clunky action made shooting it not...
I wanted to get a McMillan, but I’m planning to hunt with this rifle this year, so couldn’t get one in time. I ended up scoring a good deal on a HS Precision PSV096 in tan with black webbing that was taken off a 700 VS. I had a CZ 527 Varmint with that stock years ago and it fit me well. I’ve...
This is my second one. If I’m not prepared to spend 2k+ on a Nightforce, this is really the only option in my mind. I value reliability and durability over glass quality. I considered the Nightforce SHV 4-14 F1 pretty hard and the SWFA HD 3-9….but at the end of the day I’m ultimately saving for...
First goods have started to arrive, looking forward to getting this rifle all set-up. Hoping to have it ready to hit the range by the weekend.
Still waiting on rifle (should arrive Thursday, stock, adjustable cheek riser, bipod, and sling.
