    Camelback ?'s

So I finally brokedown and bought one, after using canteens for years. My questions are regarding care and storage. I picked up a Camelback at the local surplus store, has the soldiees last name and last four marked out with sharpie. It doesn't look abused, so I gave the $35 and got it. What do...

Hunting & Fishing 300 WSM recoil in light rifle?

Agree with others, I had 300WSM model 70. Hunting was no problem, didn't notice the recoil being any worse than my 270. From the bench, round after round, whole other ballgame. Eric

    93 Cummins ?'s

Its got 4:10 gears, so its not too bad down low. It has decent boost pressure, my gauge reads20+ under heavy acceleration. It just seems to flatten out around 2000rpm, which kills my top end/hiway speeds. What is the safe range for egt's? Thanks, Eric

    93 Cummins ?'s

Ok, I feel pretty dumb asking. Where is the fuel filter on this engine? Also, what are as ome simple "tune ups" I can do myself to pull a little more power without killing reliability? The truck is a 93 W350 CTD, with a Banks power package including the exhaust, has GearVendors OD behind the...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Draw stroke and presentation?'s

So since the wife and kids are gone for a month, I have been trying to work on drawing and presenting my pistol every evening after work. My questions are; when reaching for the pistol I tend to bring my weakside hand across to the center of my chest as my shoulders rotate to the right dropping...

NRA members are trrrrists according to News Editor

Only read part of that garbage. The editor has obviously chugged the jug of koolaid. Most definately not familiar with the BoR's, beyond the 1st amend. He and his kind, spreading this trash, are the real problem in this country.

    Shoes, Merrell or Keen

So i've been needing new shoes for a while, and on a buddys recommendation, dropped the coin on some Merrell Moab WP's. Then found some Keen Siskyous, that look to be a better built shoe. Anybody with experience with either or both of thes? Any info is appreciated. Thanks, Eric

a ? for you back surgeons...WTF is this?!?!

Yeah, looks like a subcutaneous Vicryl that popped loose. The "spitting" is pretty common reaction to that type of stitch, just keep clean and covered with sterile bandages as others have said. The redness often mistaken for infection is the body's natural healing process. It is the inflammatory...

Pic of suspect#2 in the hospital

Carotid is located more anterior on the neck, between jawline and sternal notch. And hitting the carotid would cause you to bleed out, not stroke out. Strokes are caused by rupturing or occluding the vessels in the brain.

Pic of suspect#2 in the hospital

No. You dont put gauze in the ears for face or neck surgery. If it were real you wouldnt see the towels, they go under the surgical drape. The dressings go on the wounds before being extubated, etc... I call bullshit fake.

Bomber #2 down and in custody

We will always have these problems, as ling as our leaders play world police/babysitter. Before the terrorists it was Commie sleeper cells, before that Native Americans, before that... you get the picture. There will always be someone or something "out to get the American way". Once we broke...

Hunting & Fishing new to turkey hunting, need help

Good camo that blends with your area. Practice with the different types of call(slates, boxes, and diaphrams). A shotty and ammo you have patterned out to 40yds. A comfortable seat and maybe a blind. Check out the NWTF website for some tips. Remember turkeys have excellent eye sight and spook...
