There are some other stocks here that you might consider: https://www.stockysstocks.com/stock-finder/tikka/t3.html A lot of these will be a tad heavier than your retail CTR stock but a bit lighter than the KRG Bravo. The iota Kremlin for example, is 2.5 lb with option for a CTR inlet.

Remington 700 5R, Tikka T3X Lite, Browning x-bolt hells canyon. Advice on a nice long range bolt gun

The Tikkas seem to be selling quite a bit cheaper south of the border, adjusting for the exchange rate: https://www.eurooptic.com/Tikka-T3x-Roughtech-Lite-Rifles.aspx https://www.eurooptic.com/tikka-t3x-ctr-rifles.aspx You might be able to find better prices for the Tikkas in Canada if you...

    Sig Cross

Original release date was supposed to be in June IIRC: https://www.outdoorhub.com/news/2020/02/05/sig-sauer-to-offer-bolt-rifle-the-cross-and-new-277-cartridge/ That was before any delays caused by Covid19.

Wells Fargo sues Gunwerks in Federal Court

It was in the lawsuit. The default date was in Dec 2019. Not to say there weren't problems pre-dating that.

Wells Fargo sues Gunwerks in Federal Court

Possibly, possibly not. The loan came to term in dec 2019. Outstanding balance was for the $2.5 mil plus interest on one loan and about half of another $750k loan. That was right around the time their facilities completed and they were putting out the YouTube series, etc. Collateral was...

Wells Fargo sues Gunwerks in Federal Court

I wonder how much the coronavirus played into this. Seems like they might have made an ill timed expansion push. Given the nature of their customer base - well heeled hunters with more money than time, no hunt this season = no purchase.

Isn't this the same idea behind the Browning BOSS? Guess that's off-patent now?

    Tikka UPR - thoughts

Do you think there's enough material on the front of the stock for the barrel channel to be opened up for something like a Proof sendero barrel?

    Tikka UPR - thoughts

I'm interested in this gun but I wonder about the stock's barrel channel being wide enough to fit something like a proof prefit barrel eventually. Also, at $1498 at Eurooptic, the stainless steel version is just $200 less than a Sako S20 precision, which has an improved trigger and safety...

    Sako S20

So looking at the chassis it looks like there's a plastic liner piece around the barrel channel to create a tight spacing with the thinner profile barrels: If you take that away you should be able to fit all sorts of thicker profile barrels no?

    Sheep Rifle Build

Not sure about a Trigger Tech diamond in a hunting rifle. The 4 oz to 2lb pull weight seems light. A TT Special with 1 - 3.5 lb pull might be safer. For muzzle brakes the Insite Arms Heathen is well liked by many and has comparatively less gas blow back and concussion.

    New Sig CROSS

What you are saying could make sense. The steel base is containing the extra gas pressure. The increased forces are mostly exerted as a backward mechanical force on the bolt lugs. I still wonder about the case rupture scenario though. Could it truly be worse with a CRF bolt heads? Are you...
