    Re: Favorite trigger I've had rifle basix, rem 700, jewel and timney. For the money, I like rifle basix . The jewel is extremely smooth, but I'm not liking it "better" than the others really, other than the ease of adjustment.

    Re: Oil under recoil lug, was this the proublem? Don't know if you do, but always make sure you have the gun tilted forward quite a bit (25 - 30 degrees?) when you clean. Should keep the oil backing onto sitting on the action screws.
