    Good all around bench vise.

    I have a 1950's vintage 5 inch Wilton vise that is super strong but takes up a lot of space. I also have a 90's vintage Craftsman vice similar to this one I use most of the time. Mine was made in the US but I don't know where they are made now.

    My dads had a handle made out of flexible copper pipe and two large hose clamps. I never put a handle on my mine but any day you open it you can smell coffee. I've had mine for 21 years.

    Barrel vice question

    I use a oak blocks that I drill to the diameter I want with a hole saw and then split them in half with a band saw. I wrap a thin piece of leather around the barrel, put them in the blocks and clamp it in my old 8 inch Wilton vise. I haven't had a barrel slip yet with this setup. I do like...

    Thanks for all the sources for non chicom drones. I'm not concerned about sensitive areas but in my past life I learned the chicoms would be interested in images of industrial locations and facilities. Pieces of a puzzle can create a very good image.
