    My rapid fire skills suck. I tried this yesterday from the bench and I got only 2 for 5 and both times it took me 39 seconds. By the 30 second mark, I had only engaged the fourth dot.

    I put one of these on my GSG-5 MP5 .22 scope mount, HK scope mount 22, Umarex scope mount, HK MP5 scope mount - HKPARTS.NET They advertise it to be compatible with all the MP5 .22s. That site also shows a tri rail forend UTG MP Metal Tri-rail System - HKPARTS.NET . It should work with the SD model.

    AW style 22 trainer question

    I believe if you can find one of the old 541 series Remington rifles, they have a 60° bolt lift. My 541 X has three sets of rear locking lugs. The AW has three sets of front locking lugs. They both should have the same degree of bolt lift.

    They're probably referring to the most forward portion of the bullet that engages the rifling. Some rounds will engage the rifling in certain .22 match chambers as the bolt is closed causing slight resistance.

    Is it an Armalite brand? The cam pin is a very tight squeeze past the gas key, but it will fit. Don't fill either part.

    Try a good, proven scope. 2 inch groups at 50 yards isn't good even for a stock 10/22.

    I've always wanted to see a clear, high speed video that will either prove or disprove whether or not the bullet leaves the muzzle before the BCG begins to unlock. If the bullet exits the muzzle prior to BCG moving, then the recoil pulse from the action opening would have no effect at all.

    I'm going to guess that they didn't simple cut a short action and weld it, they instead used two old chassis and cut the sections in a manner that would give them the needed length. Send Tom Irwin a PM and have him look at this thread again and see what his opinion is.
