Re: Prepping for cerakote or duracoat Lightly Blast the stock. Turn the pressure down in your blast cabinet and stand back a little and lightly etch the stock. Then blow off real good and coat. I use the Cerakote oven cure on the stock and cure it at 170 degrees F for 2 hours and it will work...- Booty

Sighting in my NEW Remington SPS Tactical.
