    Sako QUAD - CUSTOM Trainer @ EuroOptic - YOU SPEC!

    Picked up number 17 on my way home. Switched in the 17HMR barrel, ran a couple of patches through the bore, slapped on a scope and bipod and took it out back to sight her in. Didn't really have enough time to shoot any groups but looks to be easily under an MOA at 100yds.

    Went with the Spuhr 1.5" 30moa for mine. Running the Kahles k6-24x56 and it has a good bit of clearance. Originally I tried the 1.46" and it worked but was a little low for my chipmunk cheeks.

    Just picked up my first new (to me) SRS and have a quick question. The safety seems very difficult to operate, so much so that I my fingers hurt from pushing on it. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix short of sending it off?

    Never had a problem with availability and just checked Midway and they show 308, 300 and 338 all as available.

    TRG-22 question on spacers

    Found the Sako 30mm low 3-ring dovetail mount and 50mm NXS F1 perfect. Went to a Kahles 34mm tube in a Spuhr dovetail mount and went with the 10mm factory cheek spacer. Good height but can't remove the bolt on the TRG-42 with the spacer installed.

    +1^ I bit the bullet and went with the Spuhr on my TRGs this year and couldn't be happier except wallet is a lot lighter. You could also go with the Sako TRG factory 3 ring mount which I feel to be a solid system.

    22" or 24" Barrel in .260?

    Went 24" on my TRG and happy with it, easily getting 2850fps with 142smk. Most of the time running a Tigershark on the end and anymore gets really unweildy.
