Re: Texas Prairie Dog Hunting? I have also been looking in the panhandle (with little luck). There are tens of thousands of prarie dogs between Lubbock and Levelland. I found a guy at one time that wanted about $500/gun. He would take you out, put you in a tower, and feed your group lunch...- zimmtex

Re: What's the best .308 hunting bullet? I hunt on the high plains of Texas where the distances are long and the wind blows hard most of the time.
