Hey man, thanks for responding and you oughta come over to dsrp some time. I know its a little bit of a drive but its a great range. 2 pistol bays(25yds), 1 short range all purpose(50yd), general purpose range with shooting positions at...
Re: remimgton 700 barrel changeRem
Well im pretty attached to the action, and don't have room for another complete gun.. I'm thinking a Bergara 26 stainless varmint and a jeweled rem. bolt.
Hey guys, im not sur if i put this in the right place or not, but here goes. I have a Rem. 700 sps tactical in .223 and i want it to turn into a .308. HA. Could i buy a .308 barrel and bolt and still use the same reciever?
Thanks, Spencer
Re: Anyone shooting the M&P 15-22?
On my longer range one i have a 3-9x40 scope and on the short range I have magpul flip up sights.. I'm thinking about putting a burris fastfire on it. I have that same red dot on my m4 and it holds zero very well and is very visible.
I have a pair of Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 Rifles, one set up for long range and one for close.. They are very similar to a M4 carbine. Great for practice and a lot cheaper to shoot than 5.56. Is anyone else shooting these?
Re: 223 SAVAGE or 223 HOWA HOGUE
I'm shooting a Remington 700 sps tactical .223. Very good price and good accuracy out of the box, though a little on the heavy side (about 13 lbs with optics and a bi-pod). you can shoot good groups at less than 300 yds with 55 grain fmj. ammo. They have a 1...
Re: Anyone making 26" fluted barrels for Remington 700
The gun has a 20" bull barrel and a Hogue stock on it now and weighs 13 pounds with optics. I'm not as worried about the weight of the gun but more about the accuracy. I'm shooting good groups at less than 400 yds with the 62 grain ammo...
Re: Anyone making 26" fluted barrels for Remington 700
The reason I'm asking is i want to shoot 80 gr ammo to get 100 yards and the stock barrel will not stabilize that weight ammo.
thanks,
