    Lapua 300 WinMag brass

That rumor gets passed around every few years. Lapua did sell 300 WM brass for a short time a few years back. It was just Lapua-headstamped Norma brass, IIRC.

In what way was Larry abused as a child?

I've been a member both here and on 24HourCampfire since 2004, so I've been around Larry for a long time. The juice for him (besides shooting) is to get people to engage. So don't engage. What can you get out of it? I don't know how, as I believe that he's a logger by trade, but he has a metric...

Rifle Scopes Zero stop shim sets for SWFA Super Sniper scopes

@TimK Any thought of making these for the Nightforce SHV 3-10x42? They're clamoring for them over on 24HourCampfire!

    WTB CDI Kimber 84M dbm

I was just conversing with Jeff about Kimber bottom metal in July. It's a real shame that we lost him.

WTB CDI Win 70 LA bottom metal

Just FYI, LRI is working on Winchester DBM bottom metal. You might want to contact Chad and ask if he'll be bringing out a LA version (hopefully it's alright with him that I mentioned this).

Rifle Scopes AADMOUNT Flip Up Scope Caps

Sure, no problem. One other thing - I've had much better luck getting a response from Jon by emailing him directly ([email protected]) than by using the contact page on his website.

Rifle Scopes AADMOUNT Flip Up Scope Caps

When he's ready to ship, he'll refund you the difference between what you paid and the actual shipping costs. He told me that his software doesn't have the means to calculate the actual shipping fees.

mcmuffin, Is that an EDGE or regular fiberglass stock? If it's fiberglass, what fill did you specify?

    R15 vs Varget

How is any powder is better than another for "LR precision shooting"? The obvious answer would be whichever one produces the more accurate rounds out of your rifle.

Bushing for Redding 280 Ackley Improved Competition die set.

    A 307 and a 308 bushing should be a good start. http://www.snipershide.com/shooting/snipers-hide-reloading/68824-280ai-neck-dies.html

I just sold 200 pieces of Win 243 brass to a gentleman who came up with the innovative idea of putting up a WTB post...

New Gal Here From SoCal - Thinking About a 280 AI Custom Mountain Rifle

I'm in the middle of 280 Ackley build, but if you're not a reloader, there really isn't anything that the 280AI does that the 270 Win can't do. Either way, take a look at the Kimber Montana, as it's chambered for both rounds.

Anyone here shooting a 300win short mag?

300 WSM is great, but why don't you try some decent hunting bullets out of your 308 first instead of using target bullets or those made with 1980's technology? I've killed every species that you mention with a 308, using appropriate bullets. For lead-free, try the 150 TTSX, otherwise go with the...

skinny on FN TSR XP .308

It would be more accurate to say that the SPR and the PBR/TSR XP models utilize the post-64 CRF (or "Classic") action, whereas the now defunct PBR model used the post-64 push-feed action. Pre-64 actions were made, of course, prior to 1964 and are not the same actions as the post-64 Classic...

Rem 700 Firing Pin Causing Slight Wiggle in Reticle

It seems like the tendency these days is for folks to think that they can solve their "problems" by throwing money at them, rather than spending the time to send a lot rounds downrange in a constructive manner - i.e. not just plinking. If you're a newbie, spend the money on ammo, not a custom...
