    Dont think your gonna go wrong with either twist. I believe the 1:11.25 was found to be the perfect twist by the USMC for the 175smk. Seems to work fine for me with 175 & 178a maxs. The stock 1:10 that came with the LR works well to.

    I have the soild forearm on my LR308 & i just got a sling/bipod stud and nut. Then drilled a hole in the spot i wanted up front. Just make sure.its centered. Has worked great for years.

    It's a stock LR so its 24". I notice a bit of a drop from bolt to gas gun.

    My go to match load is 43 varget in sorted win brass and 175 SMK 210m primers. It does really well but im getting slight extractor marks and its only doing 2560 fps. I'll look at that powder and see if i cant get more fps from it.

    43.8 reloader 15 43 varget Fed 210m 2.810 ish the amaxs are better than smk's on oal but it still moves. Better to go off ogive. Sorted by weight, neck turned and sized win brass, primer pockets uniformed to.
