    I handled one at a gun show and the threaded end of it has a pretty small shoulder at maybe .750 and would look weird on the end of a kukri or MTU contour. If going on something like a Tikka it would probably be fine.

    Good to know about the cheekpiece. I had kind of guessed it would need shortened. So if using a regular carbine buffer tube, that portion might be able to be shortened like the link I posted on the first page, as well as how you shortened it?

    I believe so. They scalloped a lot of the butt stock area and I noticed my right wrist dropped into that area when just gripping the rifle. One did happen on a fall while hunting and it hit pretty hard. Could have been an imperfection in just that one, but I have seen video of one other breaking...

    I was under the impression that it has room inside to fit up to the A5 length buffer tube (3/4)" longer. Did you have to trim the front of the cheek piece to clear the charging handle?

    I've seen 2 Phoenix stocks snap right behind the grip. They thinned it up too much trying to hit that 32oz mark.

    I believe the lever still has some adjustment for out of spec ARCA rails and can be faster to lock into, but the knob won't hold you back.
