Rifle Scopes School me on 1" vs 30mm vs 34mm

More adjustment range. And that can make a significant difference. That's all there is I believe.

    Range Rover vs Bikers

Love how he states that the "roll captains" or whatever block entrance ramps and guide lanes like they're some sort of fucking cops. Then go to NYC and take over the streets. Great.

^Biker who has earned my respect. Sincerely, Cager

    Range Rover vs Bikers

Given recent shows of NYPD marksmanship, he still wouldn't have been but 6 bystanders would have been.

    Hearing protection

Suppressor + 30 dB ear muffs. Don't sit next to the guy with the huge muzzle brake.

Cager? LOL Sorry, no respect here. Also, ball bearings...LOL, good luck with that.

Suppressors Is its crazy idea to purchase a 50BMG suppressor for use on a 338LM?

Why buy 1 when you can get 2 for almost twice the price?

    Suppressors Suppressor blowback

Well, I just went with the factory threaded 22/45. With the picatinny rail. Threw a red dot on it and shot to my heart's content. However, Pac-lite sells 6" barrels pre-threaded if you want.

    Suppressors Suppressor blowback

I ended up selling my Walther after I found I was shooting exclusively with the 22/45. :D Agreed the 22/45 is too hard to put down...I had just gotten the Walther first because it looked more like my other handguns. But the 22/45 is just plain better. Live and learn.

I noticed it with the Walther, but not with my 22/45.

    Suppressors My Thunderbeast -- EXPLODED!!

Just an aside in this thread about the fact that TBAC is awesome service, which is great, but AAC also serviced my SDN-6 with about a month sent-returned time last December when I blew mine off the rifle. You might try calling again.

    Coriolis Compensator Prototype**UPDATED**

Do you have any discounts from your military overruns? And I would pay more for Bertrillium-Zantitium coatings on the illumination system to increase light transmission.

    Suppressors Suppressor blowback

Delta speaks the truth. My Walter loved mini-mags until I got a Sparrow. Then I had the same problem and switched to CCI SV. Not nearly as bad.

Rifle Scopes What's the best Low Light scope....

My Night Optics D-740 worked wonders. Sold it cause I was too cheap though.

Rifle Scopes I'm pretty new to scopes and have a question

Are you hunting or moving/shooting actively? If stationary target shooting I'd suggest the 6-24. I don't take mine off 24x when target shooting, but hunting or moving around 6x is too much for me.

Suppressors Suppress a pellet rifle ?

Come to think of it, my "rifle" did have a barrel shroud and that probably reduced the sound. I think my memory is biased because I hated the sound and inaccuracy. It went quickly on my POS-waste-of-money shelf, along with a couple cheap scopes, a lesson to buy once, cry once. I hate GAMO...

Suppressors Suppress a pellet rifle ?

The loudest thing about a 22 spring powered pellet rifle, at least the cheap GAMO I bought for fun (and which you seem to be considering), was the spring when subsonic. A suppressor wouldn't do crap for that. Also I hated it immediately for inaccuracy. Hoser's PCP, on the other hand, looks...

    Suppressors Newbie question - 762 SDN-6

I tried an H2 buffer with mine and it was somewhat unreliable so I said whatever and went back to the base configuration. It's as gassy as my dog, but I don't really shoot it that much anyway. I prefer my bolts. If I shot it more I might bother with an adj gas block, but right now I don't care.

To reload or to go rimfire, that's the question

I'd seriously consider Prvi Partizan ammo. It's in stock at Midway now, Prvi Partizan Ammo 308 Winchester 145 Grain Full Metal Jacket About $0.70 per shot. And fairly accurate in my Savage 10FCP rifle, sub MOA, out to 100 yards (bad BC for long range.) Not the best obviously, but I determined...
