axsr factory barrel is 27", berger data barrel is 26". it is different, but not nearly enough to account for the pressure and velocity differences- taliv

I get pressure signs at the berger starting load for 230g and h1000 so I spent a while on phone with berger today and thought I'd share, in context of posts above in this thread from this summer all the way back to 2017. Don’t think so. The targets are 400-1100 yards and -6 to -15 deg angle. I’ve been told that moccasin place that hosts ELR matches is just “the other side of the mountain” but I’ve never been there.- taliv

Since this is a pic thread, here’s a pic of the AXSR 300nm (bottom first pic) at a club match in VA today. Precision Rifle Gear Is the Garmin Xero still the Whiz Bang Chrono to get? Is there a new(er) model coming this year?
I’d think any not-a-session uses less battery than a session because the radar isn’t emitting. So pausing a session turns off the radar, no? I bet it saves a lot of battery- taliv

Couple questions about the garmin: yesterday I wanted to see how heat was affecting my velocity and group so I waited 10+ min between shots for the suppressor to cool. To save battery I paused the session and powered the garmin off. Turned it on and resumed session right before shooting...- taliv

my AXSR forearm just came loose after a short ride in the sxs and 5 rounds of 300nm. oddly enough, 4 of 5 rounds were clustered in a sub 1/4MOA knot and the other was 1/2" away. i didn't notice til i was trying to get this 338U SR unstuck. per manual, i tightened the two hex screws to 45...- taliv

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???
Does the side mount have the same level of stability as the top diving board mount? It looks like it has a different attachment style so the diving board can’t be mounted on the side, but the side appears to still have more than just the screws holding it to zero- taliv

Why are we not talking about the devastation in Western NC, TN, and other places?
I don’t know details but net control on Mr Mitchell repeater was talking about that this week. Encouraging people to wear chaps and be safe.
