Does anyone know of a part number or common replacement part (read cheaper) for the square mounting plate for the Vectronix tripod. I would like to mount them on several pieces of optics and be able to use the same tripod.
Available from the Vectronix download page.

Also Vectronix was nice enough to send me a manual. You can download it from my website:

Thanks again. i will make up a cable and let you know how it turns out.
I have been dying to tryout the Vectronix Dataviewer software.

I picked it up along with some spare modules from a surplus dealer in Florida. It is missing the compass module and has some crazing on the reticle. I will post some pictures later in the week at:

a laser rangefinder included in the PVS series. I just got one and another spare parts unit. Pretty cool. 10,000 meter range and is high powered. It is probably capable of a lot farther but the circuitry limits it to 10k.
I do need some small parts like rubber eye cups and batter compartment...
I am a recently retired Federal LEO after 30 plus years. 6 years as a firearms instructor responsible for about 200 maintaining quals and new firearms training for 200 plus LEOs. My interest is in laser rangefinders, optics and night vision.
I am trying to find a tripod similar to the one shown below. I believe it was sold with the Leica Vectors.
I don't know who made it but seems to be a much smaller/ simpler version of the Ashbury
Thanks in Advance.
