So over the Contrived and Repetitive Nature of Stages today

I think the draw for NRL Hunter is there are a lot more hunters than competitive shooters and it somewhat replicates hunting scenarios. QP matches are fast and furious with hits required (no round count) vs hit or miss.

So over the Contrived and Repetitive Nature of Stages today

We have the same problem in AZ. Centerfire Silhouette is damn near dead. Our club hosts informal silhouette matches each Friday during the winter and we get 30+ people for 22 and maybe eight for heavies. I host NRL Hunter and Quantified Performance matches at the same range and sell those...

So over the Contrived and Repetitive Nature of Stages today

I picked up one of your books off the RO table. Since I already have it this one is going to a new shooter that shows drive and intitative at my next couple of matches. Thanks for the donation, it will go towards training a newbie.

    nrl22x?????

I am an NRL 22X Match Director, and have ran NRL22 matches since the inception of the NRL22.... These matches are at the total discretion of the MD and can be a one day or two day. Some MD's have two-one day matches back to back giving you two X match scores in a single weekend.

Measuring the velocity of the bullet a target distance

I believe the shot marker system can do this, but not sure on the accuracy of it.

    Which Ckye-Pod???

I believe that the ROI on a triple to be not worth it. I personally have seen very few situations where a triple would have been the ticket that a low kneeling position off a tripod couldn't beat....the the tripod is more stable anyhow.

    Which Ckye-Pod???

I have both as I originally bought the PRS and then a double. Rarely need the double but it is there when the rare opportunity presents, usually during NRL Hunter matches.

SAC Seating Die - real world experiences?

I have found the SAC dies to give repeatable, consistent measurements and really good run-out. They are quality items and priced accordingly, I'm more than willing to purchase more.

    Can someone explain camover?

Camover is when your press ram hits the limit, but you still have a little more in the handle. The ram is at max length and all the slop is out of the press linkage.

Is this normal Safety protocol for USPSA?

He's good. MDs do dork traps like that all the time. It depends on where you engage whether or not the 180 is broken. If I was the RO on the stage, I would not allow competitors to park near the fault lines. It does appear to be a quite narrow bay/area however for that type of stage.

PRS rimfire director bullies youth shooter at prize table

Come on, on what planet should taking something out of the hands of a youth shooter be excused? Regardless of who's turn it really was, there is no plausible reason to take anything away from a child. I'm certain a shooter that came in second really does not need anything off a prize table...
