    Scott, Just curious what was your chamber spec'd for? IE was it set up for the 140 Amax at 2.81" or something different. Are any of the other shooters experiencing pressure issues running Factory based chambers?

    Out of the box they are very tight. Run them passed the ball expander in your full length die and they will be much softer seating.

    If it were me, I'd make sure the 100 yard groups are not a fluke. Sounds like you've done that. Next when it is windy again, shoot that 500 yard steel again with both loads and let the results tell you if 100fps makes up for somewhat lower accuracy.

    Your 7 saum is perfect for elk. If the 150 accubonds shoot well, use them. If not try another bullet. You will not be at a loss for knock down power with the saum.

    Some data on my 22" 6.5 Creedmoor Factory 140 Amax ammo - 2670fps 41.5 h4350 w/140 bthp - 2680fps During a ladder test with 140 Amax I got 2786fps (1 round sample) using 42.8 h4350 with no pressure but haven't gone further yet.
