    Alliant Reloader 15 Scarece - Other Options for both .223 AND .308

    If you want powder you have to get what is available even if it requires a hazmat fee. Its cheaper if you buy in bulk even with the Hazmat. None of my local store have had anything, and what they do have is about 5 bucks more a pound than what I paid even with the Hazmat.

    I shot around 5 pigs, one multiple times, and every one of them ran off using a 168 Amax. I wont use anything other than FMC or M855 ammo on pigs. I am sure the Amax will work well if the shot placement is perfect, but shooting them at night makes that very difficult.

    168 a max in a 308 for hog/ deer

    Every hog I shot with a 168 Amax has run off. Some were shot multiple times and all were inside of 100 yards. For hogs I only use FMJ bullets.

    This is why I would NOT buy ammo online from the auctions.

    As they say, lack of planning on your part..... If you dont have enough ammo to keep you going for a year or so, you cant complain about prices. Sounds like most of the people complaining are the same ones that expect to buy gas at the corner store after a major hurricane.

    Re: Can somone HELP ME with pistol reloading? Large pistol primer can still be found, so get them while you can from wideners, midsouth etc. powder might be an issue, so I recommend finding some Ramshot True Blue, or whaever you favorite is. As things are right now, buy what you can find...
