Re: Trouble justifying USO
So, is the FFP worth 1000 dollars to you?
I think, in the long run, those 1000 dollars would do you more good spent on ammo/new stock/rangefinder.
Either way, you are a lucky guy, getting to pick from the top shelf!
Re: us optic on its way
I'd hazard a guess that it simply means that the scope right now has 20 MOA extra up than down. Go up 20 MOA to get to the center of the adjustment range, whereabouts you should be with a 0 MOA base.
Re: ZEISS CONQUEST 4.5-14X50 Mil Dot Target Turrets
I've bought three of them.
Excellent glass! Much better than my Mark 4.
Turrets are good. Tactile clicks, not mushy at all. Nice and crisp. However, they turn clockwise. This takes some getting used to.
Re: Remington 700 Police 338 Lapua rifles
I already contacted them and asked, they will not sell to the general public. They do however sell a new DBM-system that fits the rifle, and the mags for that system are a little cheaper.
Re: How many rounds downrange in a typical day of shoo
30-50 usually, if it's been a long time since I last went shooting I usually shoot twice that amount.
Re: United Kingdom Sniper Comp.
If I can just persuade my spotter, We'll take the trip across the pond to join!
Edit:
Will this be something akin to FinnSniper, where ghillie/camo/stalks are beeing judged? Pure shooting competition? Something in between?
Re: Hello from Euro Optic
Because Alex is such a great guy he cares about you getting your scope as fast as possible. He shipped mine before my payment had arrived. I have nothing but great things to say about Alex and Euro Optic.
Re: Remington MLR .338 LAPUA - SPEAK OUT!
92grs N570 behind a 250 Scenar gave me exactly 1 MOA.
Not that impressed, and I have put the project on hold until my custom muzzlebreak is fixed. Now, it starts to screw of after two rounds. Greeeat.
Re: Remington MLR .338 LAPUA - SPEAK OUT!
My buddy has a one, as do I.
He gets 0.7 MOA from 94grs N570 behind a 250 Scenar, at 92.8mm
I'm gonna shoot mine tomorrow and see what loads it likes best.
