To Tumble with primers in or out?
After bending decapping pins on stainless media stuck in the flash hole, I deprime first. Its easier both to see the stuck media as well as remove it. Has nothing to do with accuracy and everything to do with clean reloading equipment.- Castloader

Also, between my two piston barrels, the 5.56 gas block has “on/off” whereas the 6.8 has “supp/unsupp” with different port diameters. Its just a 1-piece plug that can be swapped between gas blocks. I’m sure that getting one with a custom port size would not be too challenging, but I’ve never tried.- Castloader

Sell me on LMT
I’ve had a Defender 2000 MRP for about 10 years with piston barrels for 5.56, 6.8SPC and a DI 300BLK. All LMT parts. I have run the 6.8 and 300 barrels suppressed with a .30 cal Reaper by SAS. I haven’t bought the brake to run the 5.56 with the can but imagine the total effect would be similar...- Castloader

Lord of War NiB BCGs - Thoughts?
I just ordered one of these, FWIW talked to Mark Mueller on the phone, he said the carriers are 8620 and the bolts are 9310 steel. He's a bit hard to get a hold of, but pleasant enough to talk to on the phone. He says he's been making these and selling them to firearms companies for years and...- Castloader
