    I wish I wasn’t a sucker for m1a’s

You are so right. I’ve been saying the same thing lately to friends and family. I’m like look at each firearm as a share of stock. Apple is like $170 and Amazon is like $3k a share. Well this old Mauser is a share that will appreciate and amazingly I can play with in the mean time.

    I wish I wasn’t a sucker for m1a’s

Beautiful rifle I just got my first M1A not too long ago. To me it seemed like a gun collection can’t be complete without one. Kind of like a 1911

Changing Muzzle Device on 14.5" AR

Since it needs to be pinned and welded, and that is going to create a commitment, what is the most universal QT pattern or thread pattern to make sure you don’t have to send it off every time you change direction of silencers?

Changing Muzzle Device on 14.5" AR

Oh your spot on for sure. What I’ve discovered in my life is just how little one side understands or seeks to understand the perspective of the other. As I head into my 5th decade on this planet I’ve have spent a third of my life in a super liberal heavily populated area, a third in a very...

Changing Muzzle Device on 14.5" AR

I honestly think people make too big a deal out of the universal back ground check thing We all agree laws only apply to the law abiding If there is a master gun registry or not there are 10s of millions of gun owning households and hundreds of millions of firearms. Unless you happen to be in...

    Gunsmithing Mosin nagant bolt play

Honestly it runs like a champ and is surprisingly accurate. Well inside any hunting need as far as accuracy. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t looking at a potential safety issue.

    Remington getting sued WTF?

Ha sure, present claims against AAA all the time. Medical is always disputed. For every good doctor that says absolutely there are just as many who say no way.

    Remington getting sued WTF?

73 million is nothing. I’ve worked in insurance for 20 years. I personally handled Michigan PIP claims of $10+ million. State Farm for example brings in 125+ billion a year. This is no big deal

    Remington getting sued WTF?

And you would have a case if they 1. Ran an ad campaign saying using our spoons will keep you from getting fat, or if they 2. Showed lots of fat people losing tons of weight after switching to their spoons

    Remington getting sued WTF?

Sure and this is why every fool who falls in Walmart thinks Walmart is going to pay them. Well they eventually find out 1. Under most occurancrs walmart isnt liable and 2. Your not entitled to much even if they are.

    Remington getting sued WTF?

They do and they did. This is why you always see a beer commercial with disclaimers about drinking responsibly and why car commercials highlight professional driver and a closed course. Remington didn’t get sued because their product was used to kill someone. They got sued because they ran an...

    Lab radar over magnetto

I have both the LabRadar and the magneto. I prefer the LabRadar and with the updated app even more. I shoot a ton of different rifles. Fact is some are a pain to fit the magneto on. I run the LabRadar with an inertia trigger and I keep a solar battery pack with it to power and it runs like...

Where to shoot? Triple C is gone - and I’m lost!

Yup Triple C is closed. I shoot at Jacobs plains. About 45min from McKinney depending on where you live I’m just north of you in Melissa. Jacobs plains goes 1200yds. Problem is it’s unclear how long that range will be open as the owner of the land passed away. With land pricing in the DFW area...

Will a Moderator flash hider help suppress the muzzle blast on a 10.5 AR15?

I have found the spikes barking Spyder to be really effective at reducing blast and flash on my 11.5” inch upper

MDT Electronic Trigger - Zero Stage

I think this is the future so that the gun fires upon removal of the applied force. No applied force no opportunity to negatively impact the shot. You are spot on sir Rifle dead man trigger

    .224 Valkyrie

I also have a craddock upper and it’s fantastic. Accuracy and consistency is there. Ran into some issues hand loading the Hornady 88gr. I pushed them right to max mag length and I was shearing off the plastic tips. I’m thinking that was my issue loading, as I didn’t have that issue with factor...

M1A National Match Scope vortex vs Primary Arms

Ok guys I have a M1A NM that is surprisingly accurate. I’m not shooting comps it’s basically just a really fun range gun. Want to throw a scope on it. Want something in that 5x range. Been looking at either the vortex pst II 2-10x or the primary arms. Glx 2.5-10x. I have a 50% off vortex...

    Mcrees chassis' good products?

My first Chasis was a a Mcrees on a heavy and long 6.5x284 like 12-13 years ago. It worked. The folder was OK. They are just simply dated. I think there are better options out there now by far, however, if you found a screaming deal on one sure go for it
