    The chassis comes with a round lug. You can't use a standard style lug. The best way is to glue the action in the chassis. Then don't use the recoil lug at all and screw the barrel straight into the action. KT

    help needed with NXS 12-42x on Eliseo RTS stock

    I have a 12x42x56 NXS on my Eliseo, I'm using Nightforce High Rings. You can use the medium rings but the scope will be to close to the rifle and it will be tough to get a good cheek weld. You will have more than enough elevation to get to 1k with a 260. And you shouldn't have any problems...

    Kowa Spotting scope

    I own a Kowa TSN-82SV angled body with a fixed 25X LER eye piece. I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything else. I've had a Leupold and Nikon before the Kowa. I use mine for shooting F-class. KT

    There is no NRA record category for 15 shots at 800 yards. Only 1000 yards. Jeff shot on our target Sunday. He was shooting lights out. I think he only dropped 7 points all day Sunday. It's pretty awesome that a National Champion takes time out to help new guys get started in the hobby...

    Don't discredit it before you start. The first gun I shot in F-open was a 6.5x47 with a 26inch mtu contour barrel on a HS precision stock. I had to put a 3inch adaptor on it to ride the front rest. I shot several clean 200's at 600 yards and some very high 190's at 1k. So you can be competitive...

    TX, You can't achieve max at 22 inchs. You are pushing alot of unburned powder out of the end of the barrel. Which is fine it just depends on what you want to do with the rifle. I say if you want to shoot out to 800 yards it will work awesome. But if you want to fired 20 shots at a 5 inch X...

    When it comes to the 162's I think it depends what your doing with them. I think in F-class or tactical comps you should run the 180's. The 162's drift about 5 to 7 inch's more than the 180's at 1k. That is the difference between a score of 9 or 10. Just depends on what kind of velocity you run...
