    Re: Rotten Ruger i had a hard time getting my 77 .270 to shoot under 2 inches. i ended up shimming under the last inch of the forend to create barrel contact. i didn't think it would work but it now shoots an inch at 100 yards. i used some rubber mat folded over til snug.

    Re: Trying to decide on a 1/2 MOA bolt gun i have an sps varmint in .243 and a savge f t/r .308, both will shoot sub 1/2 moa if i do my part. if you buy an sps varmint do yourself a favor and upgrade the stock.

    Re: 243AI load info please in my sps varmint .243 ai i fireform with 45gr of h4350 in hornady brass with a 70gr smk. works well for me. as for pet loads i can only help with lighter varmint loads as that's all i use this gun for. hope that helps.
