    I'm planning on using AR500 for mine just not sure whats the minimum thickness I can get away with for my 375BAS at a mile. I can get a 4'x8' sheet of 1/4" or 3/16" locally for $400.

    I use one called GPS Tape on an Android device. Not sure if they make an IPhone version but could look for it. Its pretty basic but does the job and doesn't switch to miles past 1000 yards like some.

    By the time you worked out all the engineering challenges of making one that could work and still need optics to see it. You would have a real expensive way to accidentally blind someone from a reflection of the laser beam. Lol

    Nice! I'm in Chandler (SE valley Phoenix) and drive 1.5hrs. I've gone to 1100 yards there so far but occasionally have someone come across the line of fire so makes me hesitant to back up much farther at that location.

    I've had a lot of obstacles in getting out as often as I'd like so still working on fireforming my brass to the chamber. Mine is a 375 BAS from Robert Vestal. Fireforming with 131gr of Retumbo gives me 3000fps. Haven't even purchased the 400gr solids yet but will most likely be the Laser Tips...

    I went with a 1 in 7 twist Bartline 5R in mine for the 400gr solids once done with fireforming. Easily shooting sub moa with factory seconds 350gr SMKs at 1000k yards on the fireforming loads.

    Will a 40 MOA rail work?

    Sorry, guess I didn't word it right. Lol. I have a 50 moa base with a 20 moa one piece mount for 70 total moa. Scope will then dial up 3 full turns (36 mils) from the 100 yard zero. Still fireforming brass so haven't stretched it out yet.
