    UPDATE: Would you shoot in the rain AND 20-30MPH winds @600yds?

    I think this is a no brainer, look at it as a opportunity learn something. I was shooting last weekend at 500 meters with a nice day 3-5 mph and then a small storm came through gusting to 20 mph with heavy rain. While others stopped I chose to shoot for the practice in the wind. Hardmix

    The ladder test will definitely be the fastest way to find a good load. If you can not see the shots I would use colored pens and shoot at 300 yds. Note your targets, for the most part, seem to have a fair amount horizontal stringing. This can be caused by jump, the gun or your input. I know...

    I would measure the culprit rounds oal, headspace, and base of the cartridge. If you do not have the tools for this I would give it to a friend that does along with a round that feeds. Overall I would not worry about it IF this a one time occurrence. Hardmix
