Rifle Scopes NF F1 Tracking Test

Yes it's tough to see in this video for some reason, on my iPhone it's very clear. Lawn is correct, elevation is tested to 20mil with windage tested to 5mil at both the 10 & 20mil points in elevation. Every NF we've ever tested has been very accurate.

Rifle Scopes NF F1 Tracking Test

I do this from time-to-time to check out my scopes and my brother’s scopes, IMHO it takes the shooter out of the equation and in my case that’s a good thing. This F1 though is by far the most accurate scope we’ve tested and in almost 2yrs now it’s still the most accurate and my personal...

Wanting to replace a barrel. 7mm08??

H4350 is all that I run in mine, can't help you there.

Wanting to replace a barrel. 7mm08??

Not sure how much you would lose with a 24"barrel. I run a 26" barrel and shoot 170ish grain bullets at 2770fps in accurate mags. I load my bullets out not for powder capacity but to get close to the lands.

Wanting to replace a barrel. 7mm08??

    Nope, your numbers are reasonable.

Wanting to replace a barrel. 7mm08??

Listen to Billy For your intended purpose the 7-08 is tough to beat. No the 6.5's do not do "EVERYTHING" better. I shoot both calibers pretty often and can tell you a lot depends on how you're loading for them. If you push them both it ends up being pretty much a wash with the 6.5...

    Rifle Scopes Liberty Optics

I've been around the hide for a little while now and have read a number of posts about some of the vendors here, and honestly I take most of that with a grain of salt and spend my money at the same local places I always have. Until now...I "needed" two scopes and couldn't locate them at my go...

    Gunsmithing Gunsmith in Indiana?

A.J Brown Mark Penrod Either of these guys can do whatever you may need....and do it right.

    Hornady 7mm 162 Amax or BTHP's or??????

Sorry don't have those any longer, they found a new home in North Dakota, and I wouldn't start a new build with plans to shoot a bullet that's no longer being produced and no word when they may be available again. I get that their cheap when their available and light for caliber with a...

im dumb and just dont know , 7mm-08 and 308 differences 18.5-20in barrel

Your right about that, but a 7-08 with a .635bc @ 2770 is an improvement, and a lot of fun with good expected barrel life to boot.

    Gunsmithing finding a gunsmith

Living in Indiana you have some excellent local options. A.J Brown Mark Penrod Mark lives a little north of Indy, while AJ lives just south, both of these guys know how to build a rifle right. I do know AJ's wait times can be a little long but worth it for sure, he's currently building me a...

    Bullet weight and barrel length

Generalizing here....I go heavy with a short barrel simply due to the the "heavier" (longer) bullets typically have a higher BC which pays off in shorter barrels due to velocity loss of the shorter barrel. I think longer barrels give you more options for either light or heavy for caliber...

Vortex Razor HD 20-60x80 + 30mm WA MRAD eyepiece Opinions?

This ^ I hardly ever use the 20-60 eye piece since getting my 30x mrad, it does all I need. Odds are if you can't see what your looking for using the fixed 30x, the 20-60 isn't going to help you much.

    New Value for Old AX

I get what you're saying but respectfully disagree. Those guys that were in the market for a AW will still get the AW or the AT, but the guys who we're trying to come up with the funds to get an AE just took a setback. I bought my first bone stock AE for right at $2900, my second with a .260...
