Those are the CORRECT dimensions for a blank barrel, before the gunsmith threads it and cuts it down at the crown. The FINISHED dimensions are what you probably have in mind. Once threaded and cut, the 26" barrel will become a 24" barrel. And since the muzzle end got cut back a couple inches...- parkhurstta
