why would you bother buying a scope that painted a specific colour and then wish to change it back to the boring black (assuming the colour) hear that? its the sound of tipping money down the drain.- Bill.

Rifle Scopes Scope Mounting (SPUHR) advice needed! (S&B 3-20x50)
grab a torch, and shine it down the scope objective first (backwards) behind the scope, (where your eye sits). use a piece of paper starting at the butt, and move it closer towards the ocular end of the scope. as your move the paper closer the paper that will have a blury dot on it, will become...- Bill.

My first Custom, how bad did I screw up?
i would say you screwed up big time!!. I was never a huge fan of the XLR but this would have to be the best example i have seen. and then there is the fluting... wow- Bill.

30-06 depth seating. factory vs handload
My current situation: My factory rem core lokts and winchester super X bullets dance around the 80.00mm mark in length. After using the L-N-L hornday gauge i believe i have found the lands at 86.65mm i have made a few dumbies at 86.55mm and slammed them home several times with no shift in OAL...- Bill.
