    Is going to .50bmg worth it?

    I have a Barrett M107A1. Love it. Ammo is pricey, but I went 50 BMG for the variety of surplus ammo available. You definitely need a long range. Plus not many guns have a 700gr projectile. And you get crazy man points when your buddies shoot it.

    I carry a Kimber ultra carry 2 stainless in a comp tac montasour tuckable holster. I don't leave home with out it. There are some really nice slim line pistols out now. Springfield 44 slim

    MK12 MOD-0 LETS SEE EM!

    Good to know on the rings. I've almost got my Mod 0 done. Waiting on a damn form 4 for the OPS 12th. And still need to get rings and an NF scope. I think I will go with NF rings, not mil spec, but neither is the hogue grip or Gieselle SSA-E trigger.

    I have the NF ATCAR MOAR & NXS 5.5-22 x 56. Buy an NF and never look back it. Zero Stops are a must.

    Check out Delta P designs as well they make an adapter for the Socom and M14. I have one with the YM flash hider and I can also use my can.

    New Safe $4-5k budget. Where to buy?

    Check out Brown safes. Made in Cal. They have a great tutorial on safes. Ie steel sizes, fireproofing and locks. I love mine. The price tag is a little hire than you are looking for, but well worth the money. Again, their tutorial is first class.

    Hearing Protection

    +1 love mine. Get the gel pads too. Plugs into your iPhone if you want. Pretty low pro as well. I shoot mine with my 338 lapua and 50 BMG. Check out SRS tactical to price shop them as well. That's where I bought mine.

    I bought a Razor for my 338 laupa, shot it for a day. It seemed to me to not be as clear as my NF NSX 5.5-22x56. So I took it back and exchanged it for the NF ATACR 5-25x56 MOAR and I am much happier. The glass seams much more clear to me. Remember to buy the 34mm rings if you go NF. You...

    I agree Mod 0 is the best looking and most different! Will most likely only shoot suppressed. Can I still use the PRI gas block? And recommendations on bolr carrier? I was thinking YM Chrome M16 group. With SOPMOD spring and o ring.
