    hmmm. I'm surprised with bedding too. My A5 clone bed was also 1'' after the lug, but I methodically dremeled out by my self. Tbh, it was positive for accuracy, I have proof as targets before and after... Can you confirm PWS guys like it that way?

    I must say it is most interesting, informative and educational how-to topic on M40x build. Accompanied with right specs, inc contour, chamber etc it's deserve sticky. I dreamed about such info when I built mine, did research for veeery long time.

    Great project! Bloody serious approach. Good luck, I'm sure she will be great shooter. But don't complain about long waiting time. Ive spent ages with customs complications to build it outside of US.

    Re: 308 ar build. what barrel? Having Criterion's M110 bbl from Fulton and its perfect with 168s and fairly nice with 175s. I would recommend going to 1:11 or even 10 for 178 amax and this will let you use up to 190-210 grainers.
