    Same here Sierracharlie. I was looking at maybe just maybe hitting 3k with what I've read. So when I tested the load at, 400 then 600 then 800yds, I was really surprised with what the data was showing me. Forgot to post that its a 7.5 twist and at 3100 altitude. More tests to come.

    Berger 105 Hybrids Lapua brass Fed 210M H4831sc 44.3 gr OAL 2.825 which is jumped .030 for me 26" Kreiger Tested this load out to 800 yds this morning and showing 3140 fps. Started with 42 gr and worked up to 45 which is where I ran into pressure signs. 44 to 44.5 looked the best shooting .4...

    Are Timney triggers worth it?

    yes! after growing up with the old rem tigger the timney feel is the only way to go. I have put one on my 223's,ar 15's, 22-250's, 243,257bob, 25-05,270wsm, 7saum,30-06,and 300 wsm. like the big fat feel of the full control of that fat groved trigger!!! 2 to 2.5# on them all.

    get'em and rock on. Been running them in my 223 and 22-250 with good luck. Only had two that passed through a yote, the rest just blew up in the chests and dropped the yote right there. Yotes were all called in and shot under 200 yrds.

    I've killed hogs, pdogs, yotes, and deer with match bullets, yea they all died but I liked the way other bullets preformed on the same critters, and that's my thoughts! don't care what u can read...... and it was 9 out of 10!

    OP: its ok some guys like to think that every bullet works every time. until u see a match bullet pencil threw u will think they are the best. deer like soft rounds that will leave a little bigger hole. im with mt al. just buy a green box of 150s and go!!

    lots of good ideas here. I just used 1 1/4 square tubing and cut to equal lengths then took 5/8's rebar and cut to 6 ft lengths. Bend the rebar at both ends about 6 inches. I cut the tubing to 5 ft lengths and then drive them into the ground place one end of the rebar in one top of the tubing...
