    Hunting & Fishing 2 crows 1 shot

Re: 2 crows 1 shot First liar does not stand a chance! I got a whole bunch of skunks with 1/2 oz of 9's in a .410 when I was a kid. Must have been 6 of them. Lined up walking down the trail...

    Rem 700 Varmint Specials

Re: Rem 700 Varmint Specials How sad that you have to spend 1000.00$ to make your Remington shoot. I own them in several calibers and they all shoot 1/2 groups with nothing more then the trigger tuned. I must just get lucky all the time. .223-22-250-.308 and .300 Winmag. All shoot 1/2 inch...

    700 ltr accurcy

Re: 700 ltr accurcy That is strange. Ammo is the quickest fix but just for fun why not have somebody else shoot a group or two with your rifle just to make sure it's not you. She may be a one hole at 100 instead of 1/2 moa. No disrespect intended.Jeff

What is up with Sierra bullets???

Re: What is up with Sierra bullets??? Anybody can have a bad day. I have talked to them twice and they have always been very helpful. Who knows? Shit happens to all of us at one time or another. I would hate to be judged by my worst day. Jeff

Hunting & Fishing Good light weight hunting rifles

Re: Good light weight hunting rifles Not to be the odd asshole out...... BUT........ Anywhere you will be packing that light rifle you will be packing meat out on your back. If two pounds makes that big of a difference then perhaps you are not in the kind of shape to be in that environment...

Hunting & Fishing Anybody Remember Nosler Partition Gold Bullets?

I can't remember if they were the same as Partition's and just a marketing deal when they combined with Winchester or federal or something like that. I just found 150CT 30caliber 150 grains SP bullets and I was wondering if I should sell them or shoot them. Jeff

    Suppressors Kimber fell apart...(rant)

Re: Kimber fell apart...(rant) What the hell happened to Kimber? Just making too many guns perhaps? When I bought my Ultra carry stainless in 1999 it cost 650 dollars. It ran any and all ammo I put through it and I could hit a silver dollar every shot at 25 yards. This is sad to hear. I...

    One Shot Case Lube

Re: One Shot Case Lube I have never sprayed the die. I find if I wait until they are very dry it is easier. Two minutes would be too fast for me. I wait until they are no longer 'tacky'. Jeff

    GAP chamber / throat length.

Re: GAP chamber / throat length. Your rifle is cutting bullet holes. You are done. Let them jump or jam them? I let them jump just because they usually feed easier. If jamming them produces no feeding issues then jam them. I shoot Remington 700's often with sloppy chambers on the very long...

    Average throat wear?

Re: Average throat wear? Well and not to mention there is no point on earth of shooting any kind of 30 cal magnum unless you are going to shoot pretty far. The idea of loading a 300 Win mag down to 30-06 velocity is asinine. yet I see guys do it all the time. 2500 rounds and the barrel (...

    Krico Tac/sniper rifle??? I think model 304???

I have a chance to buy a krico sniper rifle. It has a nice target style stock, oversize bolt handle and German quality. The stock is ventilated toward the front like some of the modern target stocks are. The guy wants 1200.00 for it and I just have no way to know if the price is fair or not...

Re: Giraud case trimmer questions? Likes dislikes? I put in my order with Dougs wife today. I guess he must be pretty close to caught up as I may see mine in less then a month. Im only 41 but my hands hurt for two days after prepping only 200 rounds of brass. Some things are worth what you...

Giraud case trimmer questions? Likes dislikes?

I am going to take the plunge for a Giraud case trimmer. Is their anything that anybody does NOT like about them? I full length resize every time and shoot some brass stretchers. 22- 250, 300 Winchester Mag as well as the mundane .270/30-06 and .223, .260 rem. .243 .308 If anybody has dislikes...

    Burning a barrel out?

Re: Burning a barrel out? I am lucky in that I only pay for the barrel itself as my uncle does all the work for free. That said... having two guns shooting ground rats (or targets) is like owning three pair of the same shoes and rotating them on a daily basis. They last much longer then...
