    Re: I have a delima!! I'd just get a 1911 to start off with. I've had both and sold the HK. Even if you buy the HK, ultimately you'll end up with a 1911, so, just give yourself a head start. The HK is a nice sidearm, but the 1911 is timeless.

    Re: benchmade or microtech? Out of the two, I'd go with the Currahee. The Nimravus is a nice blade too but I've broken more Benchmade knives than any other brand. If you want a knife that is close to the same size but a folder, get an MOD MKI.
