    Good point...that was retarded broad. well how's this, The hodg powders are benchmark or cfh223(what I want) the IMR is 3031 and 4043 (it's what I can find) loading .224 69 gr bullet for a .223. I've been shooting factory for 15+ years and feel its time to step up my game. Better? Yes?

    As long as your just looking for a entry package no bells and whistles they are all a good option. If you can grab a smith ar for 700 that would be my 1st pick. Dpms Delton(I've owned one great gun for 700) for 700 she was a beast. Both make great started guns.

    Well I looked at that...only reason I was going to hit up shilen was it came with a matched bolt and was a drop in....the krieger needs to be smithed(more work for me) and no bolt...I figure shilen is close enough to Kreiger quality to have the matched bolt make up for the "lesser" brand. IMHO...

    Replacement barrel options/thoughts?

    Check out brownells and midway. Mid way at the moment has more in stock. Don't order the last shilen from midway though I'm ordering it tomorrow lol They have white oak Kreiger and shilen drop ins
