    Looks like the mounts were removed from the scope as I see bare solder. So scope is not original to the rifle. I see any more info on the scope to tell if it is period correct. Ask if there's a serial number. Ron (Canada)

    Parker Hale "yellow" coat rod can sometimes be found on eBay out of the UK. Very expensive to ship. Have seen mops and jags as well. Canadian issue C3 kit is comprised of a pull thru, jag, bore brush, mop, 2pc cleaning brush all housed in a plastic case with an oiler. Now try finding one of...

    Always liked the M85. Anybody have one with a barrel greater than the std 24.50" length? I believe the Badger Ordnance made a special run of 34 mm rings for UK Police Forces. Worth a try to see if any are available state side. Ron (Canada)

    Yes you can use the disc type guage. It would be the same as cutting a piece of shim stock and adhering to the fixed guage. Off course you need the correct caliber guage. Ron (Canada)

    Here's the military spec's for headspace guages 303 Go 064" Field .070" and NoGo .074" SAAMI/Australian a bit different in the Field guage being at .067" Go and NoGo same. Hope this helps, Ron (Canada)

    Criterion Barrel is a great option. You're looking a barrel + install + headspace adjustment. you'll have an awesome shooter after doing the work. i'm not keen on welding thhe lugs on a bolt body. Ron (Canada)

    You will need to set barrel back just like a Mauser. If the P14 fails the military headspace spec's don't buy as it will cost you handsomely to correct the headspacing. Ron (Canada)
