    Re: Opinions on 12x vs 16x? Alot of individual choice factor here. I target shoot thru mirage all the time with 24x and never turn the variables down. Of course with target I'm doing center mass and not IDing anything!

    Night Vision 3x - 5X lenses for the PVS-14

    Re: 3x - 5X lenses for the PVS-14 I have a 3x (unknown version) on a 14 for predator hunting. It allows me to identify small items better in the same light that would not work for the 14 on it's own. The fov is fine for the 75 to 225yd ranges that I normally work with.

    Re: Astigmatism and optics I shoot HP and CMP matches also a little F class. Both eyes have a 1.75 correction in the glasses for astigmatism. Without that correction shooting either iron sights or scope yields a second image that over laps the first making accurate shooting a chance situation...

    6mm250AI with RL-17

    Re: 6mm250AI with RL-17 Thanks DRAM40A1. I've been running 43 grns of V560 behind a naked 115 and getting 2950 fps in a 26" Kreiger 1:7.7 and was looking for some place to start. Also used 107's with 38.5 of H4350 so I'm guessing 37 of RL-17 might be a starter w/115's.
