    Re: Choate stock I wasn't bad mouthing the Choate my Savage wears an Ultimate Varmint. For the money you can't beat them. Hard to argue they aren't fugly though. My dislike for it probably comes from the fact that the previous owner epoxied a few pounds of lead into the barrel channel and butt.

    Re: Record everything! What I do even with trash loads is write the information on masking tape and stick it to the ammo box. If I like the load the info goes into my log. If not I peel it off and try something else.
