    FN Scar, POF, or LWRC?

Re: FN Scar, POF, or LWRC? If $ isn't the deciing factor go SCAR and put the Giessle trigger in it. If you want to save a few bucks to put toward an optic worthy of the platform, go with the OBR. Can't lose either way.

    Fieldcraft doomsday preppers

Re: doomsday preppers I wish I could afford one of those wazoo underground shelters the guy on Preppers builds out of steel. On second thought, I'd just like to have that air cannon he has that can send a 12 foot 2x4 300MPH through an $8,000 FEMA certified bunker door like it wasn't even there.

    Advanced Marksmanship Analyze This

Re: Analyze This Was the point of this exercise to try and sucker folks into asking for more information so you could tell them how stupid they are for not being able to determine what you think they should, or to try and show us how smart you are or both? I could almost see you doing a...

    .338 LM vs .308

Re: .338 LM vs .308 308 you get to shoot for less $$. 300WM you get to go farther than 308 with less frustration. 338LM you get to go real far, but the fun is not what I would clarify as "Cheap". Get one of each. It's only paper if you don't spend it.

    Newbe to Sniper Rifle Purchase

Re: Newbe to Sniper Rifle Purchase You could spend $500 or $5,000...or more. Look on the forum for someone upgrading and selling their rifle; lots of good deals. You'll either be happy with the level of performance you get, lose interest and dedication and move on without a huge investment...

    Brass hard to chamber?

Re: Brass hard to chamber? Here is a somewhat related question. What if one didn't discover the quarter turn error until after he had loaded 500 rounds? Is possible to safely bump the shoulder back on a loaded round?

    New reloading room!!!!

Re: New reloading room!!!! I did the same thing at a previous house. I built cabinets that enclosed the freezer and safe and painted them to match the safe so it wouldn't stand out. Looks good. Look forward to seeing the progress.

    Suggestions on Spotting Scope Stands?

Re: Suggestions on Spotting Scope Stands? I like my Manfrotto 190. It has the versatility of being able to be used as camera tripod, but the legs fold out flat and the vertical center post can switch over to horizontal so it can be used for a spotting scope stand from prone. It is stable...

Rifle Scopes Upgrade Leupold or get new optic?

Re: Upgrade Leupold or get new optic? +1 on selling the Lupy and getting what you need, but it's easy for me to spend your money. $300 to upgrade is not bad for what you get.

    cross dominant shooting

Re: cross dominant shooting the only reasons a cross dominant rifle shooter would be forced to shoot from their dominant eye side is if they could not close the dominant eye, or if the viion in their non-dominant eye could not be corrected to see the sights/reticle clearly. Otherwise, simply...

Fieldcraft What kind of boots do you wear in the field? Danne

Re: What kind of boots do you wear in the field? Danne I get Danners at half price. I also use some new 5.11's that I like for light weight, tennis shoe like boot. Tan sole blends in to the desert scape I'm in. Black soles stand out when prone in light environment.
