    Maggie’s What's Your View II

Have heard of using ammonia, the guy I was talking to about this said the ground hogs pushed the rags out of the hole like it didn’t bother them at al. I do have about 20 gallons of contaminated diesel so that may get tried though I’m not real wild about dumping something like that in the ground.

    Maggie’s What's Your View II

Wasn’t exactly happy with my view this morning. Went out to the farm to prep the tractor for mowing and found that the groundhogs have invaded. Damned things excavated out under the rack of wood pellets. Once I moved the tractor I found this hole. How’d you like to find that bastard walking...

    Maggie’s What's Your View II

Got out for our spring turkey opener today. Birds were very tight lipped. They went away from me off the roost and took awhile to locate. Had a pair of hens come through about 2 in the afternoon with 4 longbeards not far behind, as soon as they saw my jake decoy they came running. Let them get a...

Maggie’s THE "NOM NOM NOM" THREAD

Been a while since I’ve added anything to this thread so here it goes.... Made up a breakfast fatty... Scrambled eggs with Colby cheese in a venison breakfast sausage shell wrapped in peppered bacon. Gave it an hour of hickory smoke, total time at 240 was about 4 hours to bring it up to an...

Maggie’s Machining and woodworking for guns

A long over due project... Been needing a better way to use this small benchtop drill press. Came up with most of the needed lumber from the scrap pile sans the 1/2” plywood. Had all the other hardware on hand.

I use this 5 tray from Lem products but there are a myriad of them out there to choose from. LEM dehydrator If and when this one dies I’ll replace it with one of their 10 tray models.

Damn, I was hoping you’d say the ridged models are worth billions....🤣 When I came across this one the handle was broken off. Have wondered what the original handle type was. Is your handle complete and if so what is the style and length.

It has 4 ridges, 2 each side running top to bottom. What is the significance of the ridges?

That’s nice Two36, I have it’s double bit brother. It was rather rough when I found it, so it’s gonna get a full polish before it’s done.

How do you intend to make it, smoker, dehydrator or in the oven?

My main bitch with the mini splits is the condensate removal. The typically installed inline pumps are prone to failure. They’re just too fragile. If you can gravity drain them, do it. Not fond of the nylon mesh filter panels they come with. If and when the evap coil gets plugged up there is no...

For a space that small I’d shy away from one of the wall mounted open flame heaters. First off they’re burning the air you want to breath and secondly they’re fill that space with carbon monoxide. If a gas fired appliance is desired find one suitable for a mobile home or trailer that has a...
