Bubbad M98 sniper?
That's a keeper, reproduction upper bracket and scopes are available and yes that is the way they are numbered. I have a Swede with the 1939 German made bracket and AJAX scope. Numbered the same way.- MJ1

Unfired N4 Mk2 dtd 1953 conversion to sniper or original PE sidemount
Less as in less scope and or kit. you can find then any where from unissued to cut and sported. If your building for a shooter and the occasional match like the Trafagar I would lean to a Savage that had been through H&H. They will commonly show less use or be new.- MJ1

My question? I have both so I have no question. One is this and one is that. I believe my point was to find a more common and more correct '43 or '44 and not destroy an unfired '53 Mk2 worth a $1000 so it'd not higher math. Cheers- MJ1

Hmmmmm? Not real sure about that. Apples and oranges are both round but not the same. Plus a complete original Pu 91/30 is only $600 from the distributor at this time. Just a little less than if you build one your self today.- MJ1

Brain Dick LTD. But if you have an unfired '53 Mk2 it's value ($1000) is more then if you found an original T less scope or about $1K. Find an earlier '43 or '44 Mk!* in the $400 range if your going chop and cut.- MJ1

1903 Springfield Sniper ?
I know of two that were in the possession of MACV/SOG Kontum in '67/'68. I watched two old E8's bring one up on a water tower and have a go at a small mortar. They couldn't hit within 50M at 400 yards we watched the shot falls with 7X50's. I'll give them an A for climbing up there with us and...- MJ1
