    Re: SCAR 17 Mags help Roughly you can get 11 mags for the price of the lower, just to save $11-$15 per mag. So AFTER 11 mags, you start saving money. Now if they came out with that lower two years ago, that would've been something.

    Re: GOD DAMN TICKS The ticks are HORRIBLE up here in IN as well! I was out shooting with a couple of buddies and leaned against a tree to support my rifle. When I got done with my string I had 6 ticks on my support hand.

    Re: I've been SCARed for life.... I mounted SS 1-4 FFP HD on mine and I love it. I run it as a dot for close up and the glass is good enough to stretch it out farther if you want. I have only got it out to 700 yards though.

    Re: Scope for SCAR 17 I love the charging handle on the 17 and the fact it is something different. Mine is much more for multi gun than for long range though so I don't mind the trigger. Has premier come out with their 1-4 yet? I haven't seen anything about it yet.
