    Well to be honest I never took the subs past 50 yards ..the 225gr noe .311 mold works great in x39..but I used to run 174gr with 14grs of cfe..and worked well in aks

    I have been hand loading sub sonic cycling 762x39 for years ...I knew a guy making sub x39 and selling them ..but Detroit ammo co 220gr x39 works well

    I'm a fan of the steel HK 556 mags myself..also check out the PRI 556 magazines they are built like a tank and can allow longer COAL like the HK mags...Steel 308 mags is all I run..just my preference..I like to run longer coal in 556 and 308 or 6.5
