Here's a list of 30mm 20-MOA mounts sorted by weight (last column). Unfortunately, many/most manufacturers don't publish weights, so there's likely a number of other options as well. Compiled from this list of one-piece rifle scope mounts (you can probably tell which ones are lightweight from...
Regarding your missing mils...
The MK5HD 5-25 has 120 MOA (34.9 MRAD) of elevation. When Leupold first published specs for the 7-35, they reported the same 120 MOA. Now Leupold.com shows 100 MOA (29 MRAD) for the 7-35, which makes more sense...
I was surprised to see certain models in the close out list. I assume in many cases it’s a particular reticle that’s being discontinued. Is everything on the close out list actually discontinued by Leupold, or are some just discontinued from your inventory?
Some great deals in there, folks...
Crimson Trace rifle scopes are made in Japan. All Leupold rifle scopes are made in Oregon, on the other hand. Sig Sauer makes the Tango6T 1-6x24 in Oregon (all other models in Asia).

The opening page of the 2019 Nikon catalog (PDF) sure tried to give the opposite impression, at least about the glass. But I guess they never actually say they make the glass.

I've compiled a master list of all FFP long range scopes, defined as:
* FFP
* 14X or higher at the top end
* 60 MOA or more of total elevation travel
The list has pictures of all reticles offered, so it doubles as a list of all high power FFP...
Regarding OP’s experience, I wonder if the issue is what he is looking at. Always look at the target, not the dot. When shouldered right, his dominant left eye naturally looks only at the target, so he doesn’t see optic housing. But when he shoulders left, his dominant left eye may be looking at...
Or the little storage compartment common in pistol grips, along with whatever hex key came with optic for tightening mount, and a lens cloth to keep everything from rattling.
SFP is usually preferred for hunting because using low magnification is common, and SFP provides the better low mag aiming point. 3-15X is reasonable, although you likely won’t be pulling the trigger on an animal above 10X. But having more mag can be useful for examining animals you’re still...

For a long time, only EOTech made holographic sights, until Vortex introduced the Razor AMG-UH1. Holosun sights are actually a reflex sights (yeah, I know the name is confusing). There's quite a few reflex sights with reticles now. Holographic and reflex sights are all unmagnified with unlimited...
Genuine question: why would someone pick a limited eye relief 1X prism scope over an unlimited eye relief reflex or holographic sight?
I can only think of two reasons: astigmatism and having a reticle without power. Is that it?
